General Church Info

Our Mission:

Tabernacle of Praise is committed to helping men and women navigate through life’s interruptions and
bring them into a committed fellowship with Christ through the teaching of the Gospel.

Our Beliefs:

We believe there is only one true and living God, and He is infinite. He is an intelligent Spiritual being and the creator of all. He is three in one, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus is Lord and Savior and the living embodiment of the written Word of God. He died on the cross for the redemption of God’s people and on Resurrection Sunday morning he arose with all power in His hands demonstrating the omnipotence of God, the Father.

We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third part of the Triune of God and that His presence represents the power of the Living God in the believer and empowers the believer on to accomplish the desired will of the Father. We believe that it is this Spirit that convicts mankind and calls mankind to repentance, therefore leading us to righteousness.

We believe that God’s spoken word is proclaimed in the scripture as the inerrant and infallible word of God. This word was given to mankind through the Inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

We believe that salvation is the saving grace of God and is free to all mankind through the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe that the only source and power that can block one from salvation is himself.

We believe that water baptism is simply an outward expression to the world as to the inner change that has taken place. We baptize in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. We believe that baptism is symbolic of Christ’s death, burial and resurrection and is required in order for one to have eternal life in Christ Jesus.
